Hello! I'm graduated from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago with distinction. My primary focus was on sculpture but I also have lot of experience with painting, drawing/illustration, graphic design, art therapy, fashion and costumes, website design. I was accepted into SAIC in 2018 as a part of their first year scholars program. I struggled with mental illness starting in middle school and became much worse in high school. I've known I wanted to be an artist for most of my life but I hit points where I didnt know if I was strong enough, talented enough, and generally well enough to have the abilities and career I had wanted. I was very grateful to have role models that were successful artists to see that it was possible. My hope is to not only teach kids about art but also to see the possibilities of being an artist. I have been in many exhibitions, articles, and publications which gave me a lot of helpful experience to share. I am happy to help with portfolios, artist statements, art applications and will provide resources and access to opportunities such as selling work at art fairs, getting in group shows, entering online competitions, and making a website.

Art helped me heal through trauma, mental illness, physical pain and limitations. I have learned to not only accept the circumstances of my life but to be proud of the person I am and aware of what's inside me. I created processes that helped my grow and gain confidence and opened doors for me. I want to share this with other kids to give them some tools to not just cope and exist but to make something to be proud of.
